So I finally finished my first project and love it too!! Here's a pic!

My first Project: A Black & White Dress

So here's the project I'm working on at the moment. This is a picture of what the picture should look like when it's finished. I'm using a black and white tricot fabric of which a picture will follow later.

So, today is a very special day. Today marks the day of my official first post on my second blog.
Why a second blog?? Well.... my first blog Culinary Delights is all about my cooking and baking adventures, but now I want to start writing about my sewing adventures and thought it would be a good idea to make a separate blog for that.

When I was just a little girl my mom used to make lots of clothes for me, especially dresses and skirts. I was (and still am) a real girly girl. But now that I'm grown up and added a couple of kilo's I find it very difficult to find cute outfits in the shops.

I always had lots of fun embroidering, and now decided to do even more needlework: I wanted sewing lessons. So did my mom. A very good friend of my moms sews almost all her own clothes and also clothes for her daughters. She even made their wedding dresses!! And now she teaches sewing....

So I started sewing classes..... So this blog is just to show you my handywork and progress!
